OUTREACH

Outreach is an opportunity to work with children and young people 11-25 whose SEND needs are significantly impacting their ability to engage with Education, work and the community. Many of these young people have been unable to access education of have found leaving the home too difficult.

We strive to meet the desired outcomes for the young person to help them to transition from their unique starting point to where they want to be.

Specialist Tutors and mentors with a wide spectrum of SEND experience will assess potential barriers to engagement and create a personalised transition plan to break down barriers that have been preventing their progress and implementing any intervention to aid progress.

By working together with schools and other stakeholders we assess how best to support your young person to be their authentic self, understand their own SEND profile, grow in confidence, learn how to utilise reasonable adjustments to re-engage with learning, reduce anxiety and reconnect with the world outside of their door again.

These programmes can be delivered school-based, online, in the home or community. Each programme will be developed with the young person to ensure all of the young person’s needs are being met in a fun, safe and secure way, delivered at an appropriate pace for engagement, challenge and success. We know that the balance here is crucial!

We are proud to help our RISE SPACE Natives develop and grow through our different way of thinking, teaching and being.Young people working with our outreach programme have surpassed their own expectations and aspirations and those of their parents.

Not only do we offer educational support but we are happy to give you any advice or top tips to help at home and to assist you to create a network around you and your young person to help you feel supported. Where possible we can direct you to a SENDCO, Assessors, Educational Psychologists, Therapists and other Specialist teachers to ensure you can access the best help out there.All tutors are Safeguarding Trained, have a Mobile Enhanced DBS and are qualified and trained in ASC, PDA, MLD, ADD/ ADHD, Asperger’s, Anxiety and depression, Confidence and self-esteem, Resilience, Downs Syndrome, Memory or processing difficulties, Dyslexia, Sensory Needs, Global Developmental Delay, Behavioural challenges, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Focus and attention, Auditory processing, Social Skills,
