My son’s anxiety since joining RISE SPACE has come down a lot. He has achieved getting into a taxi on his own for the first time since joining the college, this is a major improvement! Also, speaking through video call to do his lessons has improved and I can see him feeling less anxious. RISE SPACE has made a big impact in such a small time to him. He has also joined in with cooking while at college and is sharing how he feels with this experience. As a mother, I'm so proud and so grateful to the RISE SPACE staff for their support and look forward to watching R grow and make even more progress and achievements. Thanks, you guys, you are fabulous!

What has already struck me, seeing you in action at RISE SPACE, is how knowledgeable and experienced you are. You are a tour de force, and you seem to instinctively understand these young people and their needs. It gives me hope to know that there are organisations like yours that are willing and able to work with our children, whom we love dearly, but need individualised support that our mainstream system cannot offer them. I have been in education for a long time and I have not come across many professionals with your competency. Bravo!

We have been very impressed with how quickly C, after only a few months has settled in, having struggled for so long at his past school. We are very pleased with how C now shows an interest in what he’s doing and how he is growing in. All the staff are very positive, patient, caring and willing to help him to achieve. The Christmas play was an amazing example of how the staff go above and beyond. Young adults were all given the opportunity to shine, it was FABULOUS to see. Lastly, we would highly recommend RISE SPACE to any parent looking for a suitable placement.

The support and patience have been incredible with great results. H now looks forward to going on Fridays. His confidence in everyday life has improved and he is really embracing the setting at RISE Up. Struggling in a school setting Monday to Thursday only highlights what a difference a change of scene and approach can make to an individual. We cannot praise the team there enough and are looking forward to continued successes over the next year.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at RISE SPACE, for all you have done for J over the past two years.Thank you for your kindness, your care, your guidance and support.Thank you for providing J with a safe place to learn and develop. Thank you for the other wonderful experiences he has accessed at RISE SPACE. Whilst it hasn't always been a smooth journey, we are so proud of the progress J has made in lots of areas. He is a very different young man to the scared boy who first joined you after Y11.Looking forward to seeing what Level Up brings next term!

Keighly thank you to all the team – Our daughter has driven off for her first day at college today! A day we would never have dreamt of before she started AR.

I just wanted to thank you all so much for everything you have done this year. You really make a difference and I think this shows in how confident all the young people are becoming who attend RISE SPACE. I know you make a big difference to E (even though he doesn't always show it!) I never thought he would find a place he actually likes attending!

I cannot fault RISE SPACE and the provision they have provided so far for Emily. Emily was out of education for more than 3 years prior to starting due to her mental health and subsequent diagnosis of ASD. The staff have worked tirelessly to support Emily to enable her to access education again. Their triangulated approach with the other agencies involved with Emily have ensured she is fully supported. They have been able to adapt her curriculum to meet her educational needs as well as her mental wellbeing. They have provided lots of opportunities for her to explore different avenues both educational as well as work placements. The plan is for Emily to stay at RISE SPACE for the next academic year. She has passed her maths functional skills exams and will be taking her English in November. Emily will need careful transitioning to any further educational settings with slow controlled introductions to best manage her mental health. The plan is for the staff at RISE SPACE to continue to support her to access further skills in education and work experience.Parent
