What is RISE IGNITE?

RISE IGNITE is a one day per week programme of support offered to young people aged 13-17 years who remain enrolled with a school setting but may currently be unable to attend, be disengaged, lacking in aspiration, confidence or resilience to be able to access school. Young people attend every Friday and work with our specialist team of SEND and mental health specialists to undertake small group work shops, activities and lessons to identify and remove barriers to education, community and life.

How can we help?

•  To develop self-esteem, manage anxiety, improve social skills and learn all skills required to identify and overcome their own personal barriers and develop aspirations for the future.

• To develop educational resilience, communication and social interactions required to navigate return to education and assist the young person to self-advocate for their own needs.

• Support Schools with evidence collection for statutory assessment processes and make recommendations for reasonable adjustments that would be of benefit to them. We can also support re-integration in to Schools as necessary.

• Support recovery from overwhelm and or burn out.

How to access
Parents and Carers can access privately however we recommend contacting your school or local authority SEND Officer and requesting that they consider funding placement.

Schools can access a space for a young person on role in their setting currently struggling to attend school. School can directly fund or speak to your local SEND Team about requesting funding from panel. RISE IGNITE can be a wonderful slow steady transition to those young people wishing to access RISE SPACE at Post 16.
