What is RISE Outreach

RISE SPACE Offer bespoke 1:1 packages of support for young people whose needs are great and may have significant barriers to leaving the home or accessing the community.

The Outreach 1:1 College Programme is designed to support young people with neurodiversity by providing personalised programmes in their homes or local communities. This program focuses on breaking down barriers that hinder their engagement with the world, helping to reduce fears and anxieties. Through tailored, one-on-one sessions, our dedicated team works closely with each individual to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and foster social connections. By creating a supportive and understanding environment, we empower young people to re-engage with their surroundings and start living the life they dream of, filled with opportunities and personal growth.

Our bespoke programmes of support are particularly effective in enabling rapid social, emotional, and mental health progress. By customising the approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, we can address specific challenges and goals more efficiently. This personalized attention helps young people develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. As a result, they experience significant improvements in their overall wellbeing, allowing them to thrive in various aspects of their lives.

How can we help?

• Build trusting relationships at a pace appropriate for the young person to help them reflect upon barriers to next steps and support the young person to overcome them.

• Build self confidence and self esteem.

• Help to build personal and soft skills, experiences or qualifications in the home and prepare the young person to transition those skills to settings outside of the home.

• Support to explore future aspirations, careers and opportunities at a pace and time that works for them.

• Devise transition plans to support young people to move from onet hing to the next be it school, college, Apprenticeships, traineeships, further education or work.
